Moon and Sun

My moon and my sun,

How long have we longed for the women, we have become?

Watching you fade away, dimming your light for ones unworthy of your budding rose;

Now a force – a coming gale over the horizon of the third coast.

And as I watched you from a distance,

You gave your love to the edges of the world, time and time again.

Loving fiercely and gently - spreading your warmth like seeds sewn over a plain.

My moon, you light my path and keep me steady when life get’s too heavy and dark,

My sun, you keep me warm; although in distance we are oh so far apart.

The Ying to my Yang, and the sweeping current that helps guide my longing heart,

Your life is a cooing doves hymn and song, and you, a work of art.

You are loved,

Happy Birthday Dayna.
