Star
There was a lonely, little star.
She watched the others from afar;
The others never dared, come close
That; is what hurt her the most.
For, she did not know
How admired she was.
By the other stars,
She burned too brightly,
Too fiercely, for anyone to come near.
Her beauty was quite clear to all of her peers.
How it hurts me to see, How lonely she can be.
If only she had a mirror;
Little star, would see just how divine,
she really did shine.
But for now,
My little star; stays blind.
You are more than what you think you are.
